Athens, Monday 13th March, 2006
This is the start of the Dennis Keeling Blog.
I am attending the Genesis Project Kick-Off meeting in Athens with 10 other partners who have secured EU funding for an eBusiness Portal for the emerging EU countries.
The partners include several Universities, Users, Consultancies and software companies:- SAP, Logo, Singular Software and an SSA Global partner.

Dennis nice to see you join the 21st century!
What do u think are the business opportunities for UK software companies from this project?
Btw posting this comment from Copenhagen airport by Blackberry - blogging technologyreally works.

It would seem that the funding for this project was related to the requirements of the emerging countries in Eastern Europe. €3.5m is a big budget - just shows what funds are available.

Dennis, what a great idea, to catch the thinking of a visionary! I hope these pages will not just catch your thinking, but will be a popular place to address key industry issues (e.g. what's after eBis-XML?) and see the participation of heavy weights as well as minnows.
